Dechert advised an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., a global leader in alternative investing, in the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Spring EQ, a leading provider of home equity financing solutions.
Spring EQ is a national home equity lender that provides flexible and tailored financing solutions directly to consumers with a national network of experience brokers and partners. Cerberus’ Residential Opportunities platform, a global investor in residential mortgage securities and assets, plans to support Spring EQ’s mission to deliver best-in-class offerings and expand its leadership in the home equity market. With the assistance of Cerberus’ operating and technology capabilities, Spring EQ will enhance its platform through further investment in technology, new commercial opportunities, and growth-based operational initiatives.
