Cory A. Ward

As assistant general counsel, Cory Ward works closely with Dechert’s general counsel and the firm’s lawyers and personnel to create and implement risk management and compliance procedures, resolve conflicts of interest, advise on issues involving firm policies and internal controls, handle professional responsibility matters, and draft and negotiate commercial contracts and policies.

Mr. Ward was previously an associate in the firm’s products liability and mass-tort group.  He also has substantial experience in pro bono work, especially in the area of civil rights.

Mr. Ward joined Dechert as a summer associate in 2014 and clerked for the Honorable J. Curtis Joyner of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
