Stephen Rutman

Stephen Rutman is an associate in Dechert’s financial services and investment management group. Mr. Rutman focuses his practice on advising U.S. registered investment companies, including mutual funds, closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and business development companies (BDCs), as well as their investment advisers on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and business matters. He regularly counsels clients regarding new fund launches, filings with federal agencies, and corporate governance matters.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Rutman worked as a strategic communications and investor relations consultant.
