Laura Rossi

Laura Rossi is a partner in the Luxembourg office and member of the firm’s financial services group where she advises international clients on the regulatory, corporate and organisational aspects of the formation, structuring, restructuring, marketing, registration, ongoing operations and winding up of regulated and unregulated investment funds, with a focus on undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS), real estate funds, “part II” funds and specialised investment funds (SIF).

She advises international clients on corporate structurings, including the setting-up, domiciliation, management, financing and liquidation of companies, partnerships and other investment vehicles. 

She assists asset managers, financial institutions and other clients (including regulated and non-regulated entities on the borrower or on the lender side) on all types of financing transactions. These include secured and unsecured bank lending, acquisition finance, asset finance (including real estate) as well as fund financings (such as subscription facilities and NAV facilities).

Across sectors, she also advises clients on data protection legislation, including GDPR. As a member of Dechert's cyber, privacy and AI practice, she assists clients on e.g. compliance projects, cross-border data flow issues, data breach notifications and data subject requests. She is a regular contributor to Dechert’s Cyber Bits newsletter.

She is a member of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), the Luxembourg Capital Markets Association (LuxCMA) and the Italian-Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce (Camera di Commercio Italo-Lussemburghese).
