Stephen Nolan advises on the formation and structuring of a variety of investment funds and fund platforms, including UCITS and alternative investment funds, as well as providing ongoing advice on general corporate, compliance, regulatory issues and marketing and distribution. He also advises on service provider documentation. Mr. Nolan has extensive experience advising AIFMs on their regulatory obligations in particular in relation to management and marketing of EU and non-EU AIFs on a cross-border basis.
Mr. Nolan also has extensive experience advising clients on the use of SPVs and 1907 limited partnerships in Irish and international fund structures.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Nolan worked in the asset management industry, including a large fund administrator and more recently, a large global depositary. Mr. Nolan completed his legal training with Dechert in 2017.
