Brian C. Miner

Brian C. Miner is a partner in Dechert’s corporate and securities practice, focusing on private equity and M&A transactions, advising public and private companies and private equity firms on a range of domestic and international transactional matters. Mr. Miner acts for clients across numerous industries, including asset management, insurance and other financial services sub-sectors, life sciences and healthcare, energy and manufacturing.

Mr. Miner has particular experience advising clients on acquisitions and dispositions of interests in alternative asset management firms, including structuring, negotiating and executing minority and control investments in private equity and other fund managers. He is recognized by The Legal 500 for his corporate M&A work, where he has been described as a “very strong tactician.”

Mr. Miner is a faculty member of the Practising Law Institute, where he has served as chair and been a regular panelist for the seminar “Acquiring or Selling the Privately Held Company” since 2012.
