Edward Kling concentrates on complex international deals, litigation and arbitration in major competition and antitrust, intellectual property and technology cases.

Mr. Kling has been lead counsel in numerous cutting-edge international cases. He has represented clients such as Crown/CarnaudMetalBox, Elliott Turbomachinery, Elonex, FMC/United Defense, Inpro, Itel/National Semiconductor, Phoenix, Pitney Bowes, Spectra-Physics, and Travelex/Thomas Cook.
He was the managing partner of Dechert's London office until 1994. He is a co-editor of Joint Ventures in Europe (Butterworths, 1997) and Obtaining Discovery Abroad (American Bar Association, 1990); and the author of “Arbitrating International Antitrust Cases” in The International Practice of Law (Helbing & Lichenahn and Kluwer, 1997).
