Megan K. Horwitz

Megan K. Horwitz counsels clients to reach their unique wealth management and business objectives.  She focuses her practice on personal wealth transfer planning; estate and trust administration; estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; closely held business succession planning; fiduciary income tax issues; and charitable planning. 

Ms. Horwitz draws on her prior extensive experience in Dechert’s corporate and securities group where she gained expertise in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, securities offerings, as well as shareholder arrangements, corporate governance and formation of business entities.  Her prior experience as a certified public accountant working for Ernst & Young is also relevant to her practice.  

Ms. Horwitz’s pro bono experience includes the general representation of a significant not-for-profit organization and preparing estate planning documents for low-income clients.
