  • Successful defense of a prominent collectibles company in litigation by a former independent contractor alleging copyright infringement of a trophy design for a major sporting body. Secured summary judgment at the district court level, and successfully defended appeal.
  • Successfully represented an international company against allegations of unauthorized software copying and use.
  • Handled numerous issues in patent infringement litigation against manufacturers of computer monitors encompassing infringing power management features.
  • Successfully defended an insurance company in a lawsuit by a state insurance department for the return of funds allegedly improperly paid from a state catastrophic injury fund, and prevailed on a counterclaim for additional statutorily-mandated funds, resulting in net US$1 million benefit to client.
