Alison Couchman’s practice focuses on the structuring, establishment, management, marketing and restructuring of private funds. She has experience advising funds domiciled in a variety of jurisdictions with a broad range of asset classes including credit, debt, private equity, royalty, real estate, fund of funds and hedge. She assists with various management and advisory matters for managers, including the implementation of carried interest and other incentive schemes. She also advises on general corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
Ms. Couchman also provides investor-side advice in connection with investments into a range of fund structures and asset classes.
Ms. Couchman’s practice also focuses on the global distribution of funds (including private funds and UCITS) via registration, passporting or private placement, in particular focusing on European and Asian jurisdictions.
Ms. Couchman qualified in March 2011 having trained at SJ Berwin.
