Katherine A. Helm Interviewed by Bloomberg Law

Dechert IP and litigation partner Katherine A. (Kassie) Helm, Ph.D. was interviewed by Bloomberg Law on a recent decision in The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The decision, issued August 27 and pertaining to Baxalta Inc. v. Genentech, Inc., overturns a ruling by Federal Circuit Judge Timothy B. Dyk, who was serving as a visiting judge for the case in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Dr. Helm, a former Federal Circuit clerk, commented that this decision is a “rare instance in which the Federal Circuit has reversed one of its own judges sitting by designation.”
