Dechert Elects 17 New Partners
Dechert announced that a class of 17 lawyers from around the world will be elected to the partnership, effective January 1, 2023. This talented group of lawyers spans nine offices across the U.S., Europe and Asia, and represents seven of the firm’s practice areas.
“We’re proud to welcome these nine women and eight men from around the world to our partnership,” said Dechert chair Andy Levander. “Together, they bring a range of diverse backgrounds to the firm, including a former Assistant United States Attorney, a veteran of the Singapore Navy, a Ph.D. in microbiology, one of Working Mother magazine’s ‘Working Mothers of the Year,’ and much more. We’re confident that this uniquely accomplished group will deliver outstanding work for our clients and help us build on the firm’s success.”
“The women and men in this class have already led distinguished careers and demonstrated their ability to deliver for our clients,” said CEO Henry Nassau. “Importantly, their careers have also demonstrated our ongoing commitment to pro bono work. Among these new partners are individuals who have litigated on voting rights in Texas, helped free prisoners of conscience in Africa and the Middle East, and been honored as pro bono leaders by The Legal Aid Society of New York. Our commitment to our community is part of what makes Dechert special, and we are happy to see those values reflected in this next generation of partners.”
