Second Dechert-led ESG Deal for J.P. Morgan in Two Weeks

Dechert is advising J.P. Morgan on its agreement to acquire OpenInvest, a leading financial technology company that helps financial professionals customize and report on values-based investments. The company will retain its own brand and be integrated into J.P. Morgan's Private Bank and Wealth Management client offerings. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter and terms were not disclosed.

Today’s announcement follows the announcement on June 21 of J.P. Morgan’s acquisition of Campbell Global, a Forest Management and Timberland Investing company.

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management is a global leader in investment management and private banking with more than $2.4 trillion in ESG-integrated assets under management and $4 trillion in client assets overall.
