Looking Ahead—Responding to Recent Developments in Employment Law and Preparing for What’s Next
The past year has brought significant developments and changes in laws, regulations and guidance impacting employers at all levels. This program reviewed key developments and updated guidance in the dynamic areas of the use of AI in the workplace, non-compete agreements, and workplace accommodations.
Highlighting recent case law, legislation and regulatory activity, the program discussed how employers can prepare for, address, and navigate challenges related to:
- Use of artificial intelligence in hiring, timekeeping, promotions and workplace monitoring, including concerns for employee privacy;
- The ongoing, increased scrutiny of non-compete agreements at the state and federal level;
- Providing accommodations for commuting and remote work, and the implications of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.
This program was simulcast as a webinar.
