Amy A. Jicha advises clients on national security and international trade matters, including cross-border investments, economic sanctions, and public policy.
Ms. Jicha has experience advising on national security reviews of complex cross-border transactions by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). She advises clients with respect to managing CFIUS risks across a range of topics.
She also advises on economic sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption laws, and export controls (the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)). She has experience developing compliance programs, conducting due diligence for corporate transactions, and interacting with government agencies in connection with compliance and other proceedings.
Ms. Jicha has prior experience representing banks, financial institutions, sponsors, and asset managers on a broad range of financing transactions.
Ms. Jicha is admitted in North Carolina only; her practice is supervised by principals of the firm who are members of the D.C. Bar.
