Central Bank of Ireland Proposed Location Rule to Impact Fund Boards
June 08, 2016
The Central Bank of Ireland has been “engaged in an initiative to examine and improve fund management company effectiveness since early 2014 (known as “CP86”)”.
The third phase of the initiative has just been published in the form of a Consultation Paper on “Fund Management Company Effectiveness – Managerial Functions, Operational Issues and Procedural Matters” (the “Consultation Paper”). Fund management companies for this purpose include investment companies or ICAVs which are self managed (SMICs).
Dechert will be responding to the Consultation Paper, which is open until 25 August 2016, and would welcome any comments/observations for inclusion.
