The London Inclusion and Diversity Committee (IDC) focuses on promoting an inclusive culture amongst all employees and seeks to foster a greater understanding of the diverse groups represented in Dechert’s London community.
Most recently, the London IDC celebrated UK Pride by hosting a month-long photography exhibit of "CorporateQueer," an exhibition, book and campaign by Fiona Freund celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, who work in the City of London and beyond. Additionally, the London IDC celebrated this year’s UK Black History Month with an inspiring panel discussion featuring various sports personalities who explored the theme ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ and the importance of telling your story. The IDC also hosted a Ramadan Iftar Dinner in 2024 for the Dechert community and clients, as well as a vibrant Diwali celebration.
