Stern has joined the firm as a partner in its Los Angeles office, focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation. Stern joins Dechert from Hughes Hubbard & Reed, where he served as co-chair of the firm’s class action practice group.
With more than two decades of experience and considerable first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts, Stern represents blue-chip clients in class actions, intellectual property and media/entertainment matters. He also counsels multinational and domestic companies and individuals across a diverse range of industries including aircraft, automotive, entertainment, environmental, gaming, health care, real estate and retail, in addition to litigating in high-profile matters throughout the United States pertaining to copyright, contract, real estate and trademark issues.
